Gina Scaggs, ARNP is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Akron University where she completed her Bachelor’s in the Science of Nursing (BSN) degree in 1990. After being licensed as an RN in Ohio she worked in a hospital setting and also in home health care and a nursing home before moving to Florida. Once in Florida, she worked with dialysis patients, until she returned to school to pursue her Master’s Degree. She attended University of South Florida where she completed her Master’s degree and attained national certification as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in 2004. She has enjoyed working in nephrology, dermatology and primary care as an ARNP. She joined The Zimmer Medical Group in 2011. She enjoys spending time with her husband in her free time.
